Silky, the realistic crocheted cat

This cat has been crocheted with lots of care and attention to details. It is made with grey acrylic yarn and filled with polyester fill. The whiskers are made from fishing line and can be trimmed if desired. Details include embroidered features, toes and gold “buckle” on the red collar.

“Silky” has been inspired by my Grandmother’s cat, which left a big impression on me as a child. It measures 27cm high in its sitting position.

Silky is looking for a new home where she can displayed and loved and perhaps fill a gap left by a lost pet.

Safety eyes

This item has been made with “safety eyes”. These are plastic eyes that are locked onto the face with a backing plate so they cannot be removed.

However, they are not recommended for a child under 3yo who may still chew their toys, and should not be left with an unsupervised child or in a child’s cot.

Washing instructions

This item can be surfaced cleaned with a damp cloth and gentle motions, if badly soiled it can be hand washed in warm water, pressed in a dry towel to remove water and then left to air dry.
