Description
This painting started as a feeling, expressed in a layered wash of colour. From there, organic shapes of Australian plants emerged, sometimes unexpectedly, growing in complementary shades. The florals appear next, softly suggesting movement rather than detailing every petal. The final step was where the magic happened—delicate fine lines and highlights in gouache and chalk that add softness and texture. There’s no set plan for my paintings, only flow.
