The 'New Mercies' original artwork is currently part of the 'Finding My Way' exhibition at Crossway LifeCare. It will be on display there until the end of Term 1. Any purchases can be collected after this time.

This piece starts with a deep blue layer, add a subtle layer of blue/green/purple 'dragon' shimmer to catch the light.
Next, start with a single red petal. A statement, a highlight, a new beginning. Then add a multitude of gold petals with movement and flow - reaching, falling, overlapping. They take on a life of their own until the canvas is covered.
The flow is endless, eternal; reminding me of mercies that are new every morning.

Strung with framers wax string and ready to hang.
